Just for the heck of it, I suppose.

I have been busting butt these past two days to get things done around the house and I feel as though I’m chasing my tail. I sorted through all of Ethan’s baby clothes and sorted them into four lovely piles- 1) clothes we can use again, 2) clothes to use as part of Ethan’s memory quilt, 3) clothes to go to Jeff’s sister and 4) items to go into the yard sale.

I packed up the items to go to Jeff’s sister and for the quilt in nice plastic boxes for storage and priced all of the items going into the yard sale the first weekend of August. I cannot believe how much I accumulated these past 20 months for Ethan, it is truly astonishing. I should take a picture of our mountains of plastic boxes that we use to store clothes in.. I think you all would be amazed.

Jeff and I are getting closer to moving Ethan into his new bedroom. If everything goes according to the plan, Ethan should be moved into his new bedroom by the beginning of next week if not sooner. And what’s worse is that once Ethan is moved, I have no idea where to begin to get the nursery ready for the newest addition. I have to peel wallpaper, paint, set up furniture, and you know… the usual.

Just thought I would update everyone as to what is taking place these days and why I’m not around much anymore. I am crazed pregnant woman on a mission to organize and prepare. Gotta love the hormones. :)

And to answer the most popular request I’ve been getting- yes, I will be setting up a baby registry. I promised Jess when I found out that I would. I will add the links to my sidebar sometime tomorrow when I change out the theme (this one is getting slightly old, don’t you agree?).

P.S. - My hubby just called me on his way home from work to tell me that he’s picked up 12 hours of overtime this Friday.  EXCITING!!!

Isn’t it amazing how many clothes you need for such a small person? :)
