So, it didn’t go as planned.

Saturday’s yard sale was a bust.  We had 12 customers between 9am and 4pm.  We sold some big items, but still have quite a bit left to sell.  In about 5 weeks our town has its annual “festival days.”  We plan on opening up another sale at that point in hopes of getting rid of some more items before we haul it all over to Goodwill.  And in about 2 weeks I will be finding out the gender on the newest addition, which means I may have more to sell.  How exciting is the life of a mom?  Always something to do..

Besides all the yard sale mambo jambo, I’ve been busy busting my buns getting things in order for my mothers birthday party.  My grandparents will be leaving for Alaska in less than 2 weeks, so it is very important we have the bulk of everything planned.  Last night my grandmother and I managed to tackle the guest list and a tentative menu/cake plan.  Today I am calling around to DJ’s that offer karaoke services in hopes of finding someone at a reasonable price.

And as I said earlier, as a mom I always have something to do.  I need to get Ethan dressed for the day and get to work on my “to-do” list.

Aw man, I’m sorry! I know how frustrating it is when you work and clean and set up a fantastic yard sale – and NO ONE comes.

It really sucks when things don’t go as planned. We didn’t make as much money as we had hoped when we had our yard sale either. I really think it is because of the economy now a days, ppl just don’t want to get out because of the cost of gas which really sucks because I don’t know about you but it is such a pain in the butt to try to list stuff to sell on ebay plus I hate dealing with shipping.

There has got to be a better way besides just dumping it all off at goodwill.

Some time before, I needed to buy a house for my corporation but I did not have enough cash and couldn’t buy something. Thank God my brother proposed to get the loans at reliable creditors. Thence, I did so and was satisfied with my consolidation loan.
