During Ethan’s nap this afternoon, I found myself in the craft room trying to decide where to begin. I have boxes up boxes and piles upon piles of things that need to be put away, yet I have no clue where to begin. Tomorrow our neighbor will be coming to stack the boxes into piles based upon what they are so that I may begin my long, awaited journey of learning new things.

Sewing is number one my list, as many of you already know. I’d love to be able to make baby blankets, curtains, burp cloths, quilts, etc. I am not sure that I would do these things to make a profit, but it would be a useful thing to know. Knitting and crocheting are also on my list of things to learn, but sewing must come first.

With all of that said, I’d like to share a few of my favorite stores/boutiques online:

Oh, how I wish I had their talents!

Good luck with that learning journey! I’ve always wanted to know how to sew too. I remember as a child and teen my mother taught me how to crochet. It was something that I enjoyed doing at that time but it was eventually something I grew out of. It would be nice to learn again, amongst some other things.

I always fancied learning to sew as well, and never got around to it! I can do buttons and pointe shoe/ballet shoe ribbons, and that’s about it. Good look with your endeavour. And hope everything’s going smoothly in your pregnancy!

Oh man, I swear all my crafting stuff has taken over my house! I had a designated room in our previous home, but alas not here. =\ Between sewing, yarn crafts, & my oil painting it’s a bit ridiculous really, LMAO. ;)

Oh & no obligation necessary, but you’ve been tagged!
