Mama Knows Best

I am sorry to have to do this, but life is just far too hectic right now.  We are in the process of redoing our family room, preparing for Ethan’s birthday party, school, work and doctors appointments.  Hiatus should not last too long.  I would miss all of my fabulous online friends too much to stay away for too long.  Will try to throw a quick update on here tomorrow after appointment, otherwise don’t expect any posts from me until we get through this week.   Feel free to call my cellphone (if you have the number).  If you need the number, drop me an email: gishers(@)hotmail.com!

Edit: As promised, I thought I’d drop you all a quick line and let you know how the appointment went Tuesday morning.  Everything looked great- baby has a strong heart beat (143bpm).  I am officially dilated 1.5cm, which means nothing at this point… my cervix is still very thick (any suggestions for thinning?;)  My doctor was a little concerned about me losing 3lbs in a week.  I explained to him that I had been vomitting for about 3 days everytime I ate something and we had a little argument about me being sick, which I knew I wasn’t.  Addie moved so much from Saturday evening until Tuesday that I swear it has something to do with her position.  So he sent me down to the ER for IV fluids, which did absolutely nothing.  The doctor and nurse in the ER examined everything only to determine that I was not dehydrated.  I signed myself out against my doctors wishes and came home- still feeling 100%!  I have an Ultrasound on Monday and a regular appointment on Tuesday- should be able to post more after those.
