Good morning, alarms.
Not so long ago I did a post about Ethan’s horrific adventure, where he ran away from my parents home. My father knew he had to do something drastic to keep this from happening and so the following morning, he rushed to Home Depot to purchase some alarms. I probably should have done the same thing that morning, but instead, decided to wait it out until the day that Ethan could actually unlock one of the doors in our house. And you know what? That day is here my friends!
Ethan can successfully unlock the front door and the door leading into the garage. He still struggles with the basement door and the french door leading towards the deck. Though we have not had any troubles with him trying to break out, I decided to do a research on a home alarm. After purchasing the system last night and installing it- the darn thing went off bright and early this morning. Apparently my moose of a cat likes to dangle from the pull handles on our front door. But hey.. at least I know it works!

It’s good to know that the alarm system you picked out works! Have you thought any more about the keyed locks? That way you won’t have to worry about alarms being set off by frisky cats.
Thanks for the useful info. It’s so interesting
OMG! Isn’t that dangerous for him to walk alone out there in the dark?
Ah! Scary! Alarm is a good idea, I’m not sure I would have thought about that.
Ethan! Stay in the house!
