Seven short months.
Our little Queenie is growing up and taking the house by storm. For the last 3-4 weeks, Addison has been able to successfully move herself around the house via an army crawl or rolling around. As of June 12th, Addison can officially crawl and quickly I might add.
She continues to be a Mama’s girl and throws tantrums whenever I have to walk out of her viewing area for a minute, but is happy as ever when I return. Now that she can crawl, she insists on following me around the house. We have started closing bedroom doors (aside from hers), bathroom doors and our laundry room door (where the litter box is located) to help keep her safe. And when I say we, I mean Daddy and me. Ethan is not help in this department, as he finds it hysterical when I have to sprint from one of the house to the next to move Addison out of the laundry room doorway and re-close the door itself.
We have caught Addison trying to pull herself up on furniture. Namely the dollhouse Ethan uses as his car garage, her crib and our bookshelves. I am hoping she holds off on walking for at least another month or two, but will take it in strides if she can’t wait. Jeff thought about striking up a deal with her, along the lines of “no walking until you are at least in 6-9 month clothing!” Let’s see how well that goes for Daddy..

I know this sounds bad, but so far, I have honestly found the most “annoying” baby/toddler stage to be the transitioning stage… where they’re crawling, pulling themselves up, getting into things, etc. It’s so much nicer when they’re older and can communicate and listen.
Anyway, it sounds like you definitely have your hands full with Addison! Have fun.
