Mama Knows Best

Caitlin tagged me and I will be tagging: Katy, Emmy, Candace, Amanda, Bobbi, & Becky.

1) My middle name is Lynn, but growing up I always found it incredibly boring and spelled it “Lynne.”

2) I also used to use various spellings of “Jessica” in school too. For example: Jessikuh, Jessykuh, Jesikuh, Jesika, Jessika, etc… Let’s face it, Jessica is a boring name and overly used.

3) I named my children after some of my favorite daytime/nighttime soap stars. Ethan after  Ethan Winthrop from Passions and Addison after Dr. Addison Montgomery from Grey’s Anatomy/Private Practice.

4) I have an obsession with having my children’s photos taken professionally every month when they are infants and every few months when they reach toddlerhood.  If Jenn lived close to me, I would likely just hire her to do all of my photographs.

5) Getting a job and going back to work full-time scares me. It has been nearly 6 years since the last time that I worked someplace other than home.

6) Sadly, I have a criminal record of sorts.  In 2006, I received a misdemeanor for someone else’s bad behavior.  It was a bogus charge and I am still bitter about it, but life does go on.

7) My addictions online- Facebook games, Twitter and my email.

Offline addictions- shopping for my children, loving on my children and cleaning house.

9) My husband has some awesome people in his family, but there are a few people in his family that I am uncomfortable around.

10) In general, I am big wimp when it comes to trying new things.  I am making an effort to try new things: foods, beverages, traveling, reading, etc.
