Naughty seems to be in the water.
Dear Meep,
Six years ago, Jeff and I stole rescued you from our downstairs neighbor while we were living in Terre Haute, Indiana. You were just a kitten then, maybe only 2 months old. It was love at first sight, of course, as you were the fluffiest little kitten I had ever laid eyes upon.
Despite Jeff’s best efforts, I decided to keep you. We knew we were in this for the long haul, but you amused us with your deep, loud purrs and acrobatics. You were so laid back and did not demand attention every second of the day. However, this morning, you decided to turn into something completely opposite.
I did not find it humorous when you dumped everything off my dresser this morning, in an attempt to get my attention. Nor do I find it humorous that you dragged my brand new bra around the house, covering it in the mounds of fur in which you seem to be losing lately.
Yes, I know I have been a bit preoccupied with the human kids and all, but really… do you have to turn into a monster now? I promise, tomorrow morning when I wake up and feed the human children, I will head into town to replenish your pet supplements, food supplies and scrub down the inside of your litter box. But I also promise that should you not start behaving, I will shave off all your beautiful fur. Do we have an understanding?
Love always,
your slightly annoyed owner.
