3rd of July
Today our county/town will begin celebrating the 4th of July.
Our festivities will begin today with a picnic in the park, coming home and getting around for fireworks this evening. Am I the only one who finds it odd to be having fireworks tonight rather than on the actual 4th of July? The 4th happens to fall on a Saturday this year, yet we are celebrating on a Friday. Either way, I am just excited about the fireworks display.
And today is most definitely the perfect weather for enjoying this holiday, as well. It is not too hot, but not cold either. Almost perfect really. Lord knows I do not need to obtain another sunburn. I am still re-cooping from the last one, the one that made my back look like it broke out in a hideous acne festival (top acne treatment anyone?). My burn is currently peeling and making me itch like mad.
