In all of the eleven years we have been together, I have never met his Grandfather’s side of the family. After meeting them on Sunday, I can understand why we had not been introduced and would be content never seeing them again. I know that may sound harsh, but they are absolutely the crankiest and most rude people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting.
Despite the crankiness and rudeness, we did manage to have a good time. Our little foursome and my sister in-laws family headed down to the park so that the kids could run off some excess energy. Addison loved swinging, Ethan was terribly disappointed in the slide (it was slippery enough) and Devan just wanted to pass out in the grass. They were all tired little munchkins by the time we all got home!

I’m sorry they were so rude! Gosh! But, the kids look like they had a great time! So cute!
That sucks. It’s good that he’s nothing like his grandparents. Perhaps they were just having a bad day. I’d hope so for their sake.
