And there are these plans.

tile02About a month ago, Jeff and I decided we wanted to do some house shopping. We are not looking at move in ready houses, but rather fixer uppers. Apparently our first house was not enough to drive us completely batty, so we are going to attempt it again. After looking through a hundred listings on the foreclosure list, we narrowed it down to about twenty (give or take a few). After calling about a dozen of the companies to talk about the house and having them tell us that they were already we sold, we both decided to scratch the idea from our list. We are going to purchase a plot of land and pray we stop spending money foolishly save enough money/get careers in line to build within the three-five years.

Of course, we also decided to start purchasing some supplies that we know we will need in our building endeavors. Which is precisely the reason I purchased $200 worth of tiles the other day at Menard’s and Home Depot. In all seriousness though, the glass tile and our future kitchen floor tile was on too big of a sale to pass up. We have had our tiles/carpeting/paint colors picked out and written down in a notebook for the past two years, so I am pretty sure I will not be budging. As for knowing how much tile to purchase, we have also had our floor plans sitting on the floor of our bedroom closest for at least a year now.

What can I say… I am always prepared. It’s just that once my husband and I actually agree on something, we must purchase said agreements on impulse. Otherwise we could be arguing over the simple things until we die.

It’s
