Out with the old, in with the new.

computer_dame_2Since last weekend, I have been spending money. Ridiculous amounts of money. Money I should most likely be saving, but there are just so many things that had to be purchased and quickly might I add.

  • My monitor went kaput on me about three months ago, so I have been borrowing my grandmother’s computer to do homework. Except that, it’s not my computer and I desperately wanted my own computer back. So… I purchased a new monitor.
  • And my computer desk? That’s been gone almost as long as the monitor. I gave it to my grandmother to use as a sewing desk so that I could purchase a smaller desk, one that would take up way less space. So… I went to IKEA and purchased this desk.
  • My face and closet also needed some new items, so I purchased my ProActiv face wash, some wrinkle cream, and basic tee’s and a couple of sweaters to get me through until I have some serious money to spend or until the holiday’s arrive and I get spoiled.

In the midst of my shopping spree, I have busting butt trying to get caught up on work and school work.  I am pretty much on top of the game as far as school work goes, but work?  I am behind like you would never believe.  *sigh*  I pretty much guarantee that today- I will be locked in the office all afternoon while the kids hangout with my parents.

Can you show the numbers by borough and type of school (public/charter/non-public)? By type of cost – metro card / busing?
