Earlier today, I left home thinking about how much we have going on over the course of the next few days. Today alone I had class, then Ethan had gymnastics and this evening, we went to the Carson & Barnes Circus. Tomorrow is a day filled with bill paying, check balancing, cleaning and shopping for the things Jeff will need when he leaves for Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon. Saturday will be filled with shopping with my mom and dirt track races with Jeff and some friends.
I will admit that having Jeff come pick me up to do things reminds me a lot of high school. For over six years, we would get around and walk out the door together. Having him drive to the house to see me is something I will have to get used to, but I know it is for the better and so does he. It is just hard to have evenings like tonight, where everything is picture perfect. And then you wake up the following morning, only to be smacked in the face with reality.
But back to tonight and the Circus. It was Ethan’s second circus, Addison’s first. Ethan of course was in Heaven watching the clowns, elephants and camels. He was also pretty ecstatic to see Max and Emma at the circus. And Addison of course, was caught giggling uncontrollably and smiling periodically through the evening.
Being the awesomest mommy in the land (so said Ethan), I bought tickets for Ethan to ride not only the elephant, but the camel as well. He was through the roof until he noticed the pony’s he didn’t get to ride, then shit hit the fan and it went down hill from there. I kid, I kid. He was still pretty happy, but totally drained.
As soon as I steal my mother’s camera, I plan on uploading some images.

Totally sounds like fun.. I went to the circus a couple years ago for the first time since I was a little kid and I absolutely LOVED it!! I’ve been wanting to go back ever since!
