The reason art class is limited to nap-time.
Yesterday morning, as I hurriedly cleaned house and knocked out assignment after assignment, I forgot to pick up Ethan’s art supplies before getting Queenie from her crib after nap time. Y’all probably know where I’m going with this or at least think you do, but I promise this time around it was not Ethan who did the deed. Queenie managed to grab hold of one of the blue crayon’s Ethan was using and the results were a twenty-pound smurf running around the house.
I removed the excess crayon, but not before I could snap a shot of our little Smurfette. If only you could have seen Queenie up close for yourself, you would have understood the amount of laughter taking place in this household yesterday afternoon. Moments like these are true Kodak moments, the kind you want to remember forever because they bring smiles to your face.
With all of the luck Jeff and I have been having over the past several weeks, we have created online backup, CD’s and copied pictures onto my grandmother’s computer(s) to be sure we don’t lose a thing. If there’s one thing that would kill me prematurely, it would be the loss of my photos.
