Health Woes No More?
Earlier this afternoon, I received a call from an unnamed source. The conversation went along the lines of:
Source: I did not just call to tell you to take your daughter to U of M hospital where they do not just happen to have an on-call Gastroenterologist. I did not just tell you to tell the Emergency Department that you are concerned about her hydration because of how long this has been going on?
Me: Really? Thank you so much for not calling me. I appreciate it more than words could express.
Source: Just be sure that you explain the duration of this illness, how many failed attempts you have endured at trying to beat it and about the natural remedies you have sought after and tried. And whatever you do, do not tell your pediatrician that I am the one who explained all of this to you.
So there you have it folks, someone, who shall remain nameless is trying to help us after all. God is good! He knew how far we were willing to take this thing and he brought someone to us. And while I want to jump and shout from rooftops, I know that our journey is far from over, but has finally just begun (I hope).
To celebrate this occasion, I am taking the babes to see my grandmother in Northern Michigan. We will do a little shopping, eating out and spending time with loved ones. There are some shops up there that I cannot wait to visit, as they offer some amazing natural products. They sell the best multivitamin I have ever had the pleasure of tasting, which is saying a lot because multivitamins are usually disgusting to me.
