As a mother with two small children, I am always on the hunt for the best damn bargains I can find. Garge sales are under way in our little community and I’ll be damned if I am going to pass up some of their offerings. I am hopeful that this year, unlike last, I will be able to scrounge up some money from my own yard sale’s mmf drawer and snag up some fabulous deals. My finances are not quite what I want them to be, but they are more in check that they were last year, which means I will be hitting up way more yard sales!
On my list of things to find this year are:
- Outdoor toys for the kiddos
- Shorts for Ethan
- dresses for Addison
- storage solutions
- office supplies
- art/decor
- handyman specials
Jeff and I have been discussing the idea of purchasing a new home more seriously this year and I think we may bite the bullet in the next couple of months, with a few things still pending. That being said, we definitely need to snag up as many deals as possible for the new home. We sold so many things from our last home because we no longer needed/wanted them and because the house we are currently living in is fully furnished (aside from what we brought in, of course).
