Growing up, I always told myself that I would never be like my grandmother. It killed me to think that there was that small possibility of me turning into her, but you know, as I look back on those thoughts I have to laugh. My grandmother has taught me so much over the years and has shown me so much. Through the years, I have watched her give so much to so many without asking for a thing in return. She has always been there for me when I needed her, helps me with the babes and cheers me on. My big heart and caring nature comes from my grandmother, as does my frugality. She is the one who taught me how to look at a stores daily deal, explained to me how you know when you are getting a good buy and when to walk away. The only “habits” of hers that I am glad I have yet to inherit are her shopping habits and her hoarding. She’s a terrible hoarder, but slowly getting better.

Ha, I know what you mean, my grandmas are both crazy, sometimes annoying but they have spent their entire lives caring for other people and that’s something to be admired.
