Mama Knows Best

Last night, during my ritual phone conversation with Chris, we began arguing about who would have to relocate. For those of you who do not remember Chris, he’s a long-time friend of mine. We have known each other for well over twelve years and believe it or not, have remained good friends through the years. For years Chris has been trying to get me to move south, something I am against one hundred percent. While it may be beautiful scenery, I am not one for warm weather. And I have to think about my children, first and foremost. If I only had to worry about me, I might consider relocating, but I have two little munchkins who need to be put first. I most definitely cannot relocate without a job, a place to live, nor without health insurance (especially where Addie is concerned). I know those things all come together with time, but have y’all met me? I have no patience. And I know such things as NC short term health insurance exists, which is great, but how expensive would that get after a while?  Time will only tell what I decide to do, but here’s to hoping something positive happens within the near future.
