In a divorce, especially one with kids, it is usually the men who get the short end of the stick or so I have heard (from men and women alike).  So when it came time for me to file for my divorce, I figured it would be cake.  We would divide our assets equally and I would walk away with at least something, no matter how tiny that something may be.  Except here we are- divorce has been filed and I have been stripped of so much because of this divorce.  I will not go into details, as it’s not fair to the other party, but lets just say.. I will be broke by the time this entire thing is over.  I am finding ways to become more frugal than I have ever been, ways to re-purpose things already in my home and to be smarter with money.  I have found coupon booklets I never knew existed, shopped for the cheapest auto insurance in the history of my driving career, and am learning to say no to things I do not need. My biggest goals right now, financially speaking, is to save as much money as possible and to make as money as possible via this website. Wish me luck y’all.. it’s a learning process for sure, but I am willing to tackle it head on.
