Lending a helping hand.

One of the things I love most about my little community is our giving nature as a whole.  If there is a neighbor in need, you can bet our community will pull together to do whatever we can to help.  It’s such an overwhelming feeling being part of something bigger than yourself.

And my heart swells when I read about other communities and their businesses stepping up to the plate too, like that of RMCN Credit Services, Inc.  in McKinney, Texas.  On the fourth Saturday each October, McKinney Volunteer Center coordinates with hundreds of volunteers to participate in multiple service projects. McKinney Make a Difference Day is held in conjunction with the National Points of Light event.

What does your community to help those in need? Or to aide in the beautifying of your community?  I am interested in all the ways communities across America come together to help one another.  So please, share your communities stories with me!

I can honestly say I have absolutely no clue I am more then sure it does. We do drives during the holidays but its a much larger community then yours but there are tons of community things that I just never looked into. I should start right? eh….

My community has tons of different volunteer organizations that do various projects all the time. I love the people who beautify the town, and I also love donating to local charities :)
