The Lady
My name is Jessica, as many of you might have guessed by now. I was born October 13, 1983- making me twenty-five years of age. I have spent the majority of my life in the Mitten State (Michigan), aside from a brief relocation to the Hoosier State (Indiana). I have spent the majority of my life living amongst the rednecks and Amish and to be completely honest, I would not trade my upbringing for the world. I have lived in the city once and never want to venture down that path again, no matter how convenient it may have been at the time.
In May 2004 I married my high school sweetheart and best friend, Jeffrey. He is an amazing husband, father and provider. I could not have asked for a more supportive, understanding and wonderful person to share my life with. We have our ups and downs like most, but can always count on each other at the end of everyday. He works hard to give me the chance to stay home with our children and finish college. I adore my grumpy ‘ol ogre more than he will ever know.
Jeff and I are the proud parents to two beautiful children- a little boy named Ethan, who was born October 13, 2006 and a little girl named Addison, who was born November 03, 2008. We cannot even tell you how much our little ones have taught us and how much we have grown because of them. We are also the proud owners of a grumpy ‘ol cat named Lucifer Meep, who would prefer to be the only “child” in our home.
One of the most frequent questions I am asked is what I do with my time and the best answer I can give is usually- “what don’t I do?” I prepare meals, feed the kiddos, work from home, clean house, do laundry and school work. But let us not forget the whole doctors appointments, grocery shopping, post office visits, banking and general errands either. My days are usually pretty busy from sun up to sun down, but despite the chaos I would not trade my life. Being highly organized and able to multi-task is usually what gets me through the day!
In between my crazy ‘ol schedule, I enjoy doing many things. I love chasing my son around the house, reading books to him or letting him tell me stories in his own language, watching cartoons, putting together puzzles or wrestling around on the floor are amongst my favorites. During his nap time and bed time is when I am usually able to finish homework, as well as my work. Cooking, baking, photography, scrapbooking, reading and gardening are somewhere on the list of enjoyment as well.
Positives: family, marriage, chap-stick, purses, flip-flops, cooking, photography, my hair, laughing, Disney, happy meals, traveling, books, movies, gardening, decorating, scrap-booking, goal setting, and the great outdoors

Music: I am a country girl at heart, but occasionally enjoy other genres of music. I enjoy The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bently, Rodney Atkins, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Journey, The Doors, Kelly Clarkson, Michael Buble, Rod Stewart, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marvin Gaye, Colbie Caillat, etc. I am positive I am missing quite a few individuals/bands from this list, but you get the idea!
