The name is Jessica. I am a twenty something single mother of two small children and spend far too many hours working third shift as a CNA at one of our local nursing homes. Born and raised in the Mitten State and have spent the bulk of my life here, aside from a brief relocation to the Hoosier State. I live in a town with a population of less than a thousand, drive twenty-five minutes to the nearest grocery store and absolutely love every moment of it. I am the proud owner of mini petting zoo, which includes a fat cat named Lucifer Meep, three hamsters (Cutie, Mohawk Warriror & Spot) and an English Setter puppy named Stephy.
One of the most frequent questions I am asked is what I do with my time and the best answer I can give is usually- “what don’t I do?” I prepare meals, feed the kiddos, work from home, work outside of the home, clean house, do laundry and attend school part-time. And then throw the whole doctors appointments, grocery shopping, post office visits, banking and general errands either. My days are usually pretty busy from sun up to sun down, but despite the chaos I would not trade my life.
About Me
I'm Jessica, a twenty something single mother of two children. Currently working as a certified nursing assistant and Executive Assistant to the Pajama Mommy Community, with dreams of becoming a nurse and/or going into business for myself. Most of my enjoyment comes from spending time with my family and friends, cooking, baking, blogging, crafting, photography, decorating, gardening & scrapbooking.
