You know what I find incredibly ridiculous? Is that my children cannot take turns being sick. Instead they always get sick at the same time, with two different types of illnesses. Neither one of them want to sleep, eat, drink or take their medications and this mama is beginning to rip her hair out. And their attitudes are going to be the death of me. Both kids, despite being sick, are usually in decent moods. They mope around the house all day long, nibble on food here and there and sleep. So why is it that Ethan has turned into a monster this go ’round and Addie is a heaping mess of cries, screams and tantrums?

My house is not exactly the “place to be” this week and I am looking for my ticket out of here soon. I don’t mind wiping tears from under their eyes, loving on them for hours on end, but this mama needs a break. Finals are next week and with the lack of sleep flooding through this house, I am not prepared. I have felt pretty blessed to squeeze in a shower this week, let alone leaving the house twice to attend class.

So today, once I hear from Jeff, I will begin making my newest to-do list. Showering and studying being my top two priorities, followed by scheduling my classes, ordering my books (I have two 15% off online coupons for my text books), registering at another college (where I’ll be getting my bachelor’s) and applying for several more jobs. Let’s just hope everything for the weekend falls into place like I am planning it to and we will be squared away.

I have been rather busy playing catch up on work, homework and our financial responsibilities. I have managed to get quite a few things accomplished today- all of which were long over due.

My dresser top is finally clean and filing is caught up (for now).

I contacted our insurance to add Addison to our policy.

Completed four reviews for PjMommy.

Emailed people back (and on a timely manner!).

Called the doctors, hospital, etc with insurance info.

Now I plan on going downstairs, curling up in a ball on the couch and reading through my Chemistry book. I am taking my make-up test this evening, so please wish me luck. I am praying that I do well on this test, but am not feeling nearly as confident as I was last week. Oh well, there are more important things going on in my life right now- right? Right!

I am trying very hard to stay on top of things, but having a bit of a rough time doing so. Next week, things should start looking up. We should have our computer back from the repaiman- our laptop memory was running a bit ragged, so we had to take it in for some minor repairs. We’ll have internet in the primary living area again, which will make it much easier to work. I am just glad that I am finally getting caught up on things… being behind bites the big one!

Finally… I have been able to complete some more of my 101 goals this week.

Goal #59- We’ve FINALLY installed the GPS unit into our Aztek. Okay, so this technically has been complete since February 16th, but I keep forgetting to update about it. The unit is amazing… I love it and will probably rely on it more than I should.

#70 is almost done, too. I have had a hard time finding curtains for our bedroom, but have found nice ones for Ethan’s and actually hung them yesterday!

#13 – Was just completed! I am so proud of myself for making this choice. Our savings took a bit of a hit, but we will be able to make up for it soon. Plus, we really need to work harder on becoming debt free this year.

We are also very excited about accomplishing another important goal, too. We’re pregnant! So, I can now happily cross goal #34 off of my 101 goals list. While we were not trying to get pregnant this early on in the year, we are still very ecstatic. Will update you all when things happen, of course.  So now you know the big secret!
